macOS 10.12.6 Beta 4, iOS 10.3.3 Beta 4 Available for Testing
Apple has released the fourth beta version of macOS 10.12.6 for users participating in the beta testing program. Additionally, iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 and tvOS 10.2.2 beta 4 are available. macOS 10.12.6 and iOS 10.3.3 are set to focus on bug fixes and security enhancements and not bring any major changes or features. Note that macOS 10.12.6 beta and iOS 10.3.3 beta are separate from the concurrent beta testing program for macOS 10.13 High Sierra and iOS 11, the latter of which is set to be the next major system software release and does include for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Users who are running a prior macOS 10.12.6 beta and who are interested in downloading macOS 10.12.6 beta 4 can do so now from the Mac App Store Updates section.
iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 can also be downloaded through the Settings app on an iPhone or iPad enrolled in the beta testing program. Apple usually releases beta versions of their entire system software lineup together, but for whatever reason macOS 10.12.6 beta 4 was released a few days before iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 for iPhone and iPad, along with beta 4 of tvOS 10.2.2 or watchOS 3.2.3. Typically Apple goes through a variety of beta releases before issuing a final version, suggesting that the final build of macOS 10.12.6 and iOS 10.3.3 may be due sometime within the next month. The next major release of system software will be available to the public and both arriving at the end of the year.
