The Best Seven Game Android

Play Store's most impressive free-to-play titles across a number of genres. The games are sorted by category to make it easy to find the type of games you're looking for. Let’s take a look at the best new Android games from the last month.

1. FIFA Mobile Soccer

FIFA Mobile Soccer is the latest annual release of the famed FIFA franchise. It features updated rosters, teams, and game play mechanics compared to last year’s game. Otherwise, the game offers up 30 leagues, 650 real teams, and 17000 real players. There are also a variety of game modes to keep you busy. It’s an EA Sports title which means the in-app purchases strategy is going to be fairly aggressive. The good news is that it’s a fairly decent game if you can get passed all that.

2. Clash Royale

Clash Royale comes from the creators of the ever-popular Clash of Clans, and it's sure to steal more hours from your life. It plays something like a cross between a MOBA and a tower-defense title, and it's a highly addictive concept.

In Clash Royale, you take part in one-on-one battles with other players from around the world. You must throw down troops to destroy three of your opponents towers before they do the same to you. However, these towers are only accessible via two lanes which your army must travel along.

The majority of Clash Royale's gameplay revolves around trying to use resources effectively. Each creature has their own unique strengths and weaknesses, so it's your job to pick the right guys for the job and make sure your opponent doesn't outmatch you.

3. The Great Martian War

Mix a little H.G. Wells and a polished 3D endless runner and you get The Great Martian War, a surprisingly ambitious title from The History Channel. Wait, what? Yes, the story in the game takes an "alternate history" angle, which before now I thought was restricted to the realm of the possible. You'll run and dodge through the wasteland avoiding aliens and the need for in-app purchases for resupply.

The Martians have invaded. Can you survive long enough to save Earth from extinction? It's 1913, and war is hell—especially when the enemy you must face are terrifying Martian warriors. You are Gus Lafonde, fearless scout and soldier—and you must survive. The future of the planet—along with every human being—depends on you. Navigate vast battlefields as you evade sneaky land mines, deafening artillery strikes, massive tanks, and towering Martian war machines.

4. Legend of the Skyfish

Legend of the Skyfish is an adventure game that features a little girl and a fishing pole. Your job will be to make it to the end in order to defeat the evil Skyfish. The game contains 45 levels, complete with puzzles, enemies, and boss fights. The main mechanic in this game is the use of your fishing pole. It gets used for everything from beating on bad guys to transportation as a sort of grappling hook. It’s a fun little title and relatively inexpensive.

5. The King of Chicago

Mob City? Kid's stuff. Boardwalk Empire? Weak sauce. The real mobsters get their gangland kicks Amiga-style. This 80s adventure game tries to capture the feel of classic gangster movies, and generally succeeds, if you can get past the pixelated visuals and text-based story progression. It's got a new touch interface, but that's about it - even the aspect ratio hasn't been upgraded for modern hardware. You do get the original instruction manual, which should help navigate the sometimes obtuse adventure narrative.

The King of Chicago - Emulated Amiga Edition. Brought to you by Cinemaware® Chicago in the 1930s: Prohibition, power struggles and rampant crime. Only the toughest of the tough survive. Capone used to call the shots, but now he’s up the river and Chicago is up for grabs. Violence, intimidation, bribery, treachery, and clout are your weapons as you battle the legendary Capone mob for control of the windy city.

6. Plants vs Zombies: Heroes

Plants vs Zombies: Heroes is unlike most PvZ titles. This one has a much larger focus on PvP combat. You’ll have 20 characters that you can collect. You then select a few of them and go into battle against other players. It plays a lot like Hearthstone or Clash Royale, but with less of an emphasis on card collecting. In any case, it’s a good time killer and fans of the series should be able to get comfortable with this game quickly. Like the other PvZ titles, this one is also a freemium game.

7. Dead Trigger 2

Following the success of their first game, MadFinger Games released Dead Trigger 2, which is so zombielicious you’ll be asking for more blood and guts after just a few minutes of playing. You must travel through various undead-infested areas of the world, killing as many zombies with your jam-packed artillery of weapons. It’s positively disgusting, and that’s why we love it.
