Beta 4 of iOS 11.4.1 and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Released for Testing
Apple has released the fourth beta versions of macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and iOS 11.4.1, along with beta updates to watchOS and tvOS, to users who are enrolled in the beta testing program for current generation system software. These are different from the simultaneous beta testing builds for next generation system software, including macOS Mojave 10.14 and iOS 12. No new features are expected in beta or final builds of iOS 11.4.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, watchOS 4.3.2, or tvOS 11.4.1, as the releases are likely focused on bug fixes and security enhancements. Instead, new features are focused on the next generation operating system releases, which are in simultaneous beta testing. For users who are enrolled in the iOS 11 beta testing programs, iOS 11.4.1 beta 4 can downloaded now from the Settings app Software Update section. If you are actively then iOS 11.4.1 beta will not be available without first, and then re-enrolling in the iOS 11 beta program. macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 beta 4 can be downloaded from the Updates section of the Mac App Store. If you are currently using macOS Mojave beta then the macOS High Sierra beta versions would not be available to you without and re-enrolling in the High Sierra beta program. Beta updates to watchOS and tvOS are also available via their respective Settings apps on devices enrolled in those beta testing programs as well. Apple usually goes through a variety of beta releases before unveiling a final version, suggesting the final release of iOS 11.4.1 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 could be released sometime this summer. The most recently available final stable builds of iOS and macOS High Sierra are currently iOS 11.4 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.5. The next generation of system software, including iOS 12 and macOS Mojave 10.14 are also in beta development and will be available in the fall.
